This privacy policy governs your access of the NSBA website, regardless of how you access it. By using our services, you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure, and other uses described in this privacy policy. “Website” refers to NSBA.org and all its sub-domains and related sites, including nsbac.org. This Privacy Policy does not apply to other sites to which we link.

Usage

You are not required to be an NSBA member or provide personal information to visit public areas of the Association website. For locations identified as “members only” or requiring a subscription, you will need to provide a User ID and password.

Information You Provide

We may collect and store information you provide, including, but not limited to, name, address, district, title, email address, phone number, and IP address. When you register for events, purchase products or services on this website, you may be required to provide contact and payment information. Payment information is collected for the purpose of completing transactions.

How We Use Information

NSBA digitally collects information on which pages are accessed in order to improve our services. We make our customer information available to other companies so they may contact you about products and services that may interest you. The NSBA conference attendee lists are available to exhibitors and monitored for abuse.

Multimedia Release

I acknowledge that I might be photographed, filmed, videotaped or otherwise recorded while attending National School Boards Association’s events. I hereby grant the NSBA, its representatives, agents and employees the right to photograph, film, videotape or otherwise record me and my property while I am attending the Annual Conference or any other NSBA event. I further give the NSBA, its transferees or assigns the right to copyright, use, publish, or distribute the same in all media with or without my name for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to publicity, education, illustration, advertising, and web content. I understand and acknowledge that I will not be compensated for the use of my likeness or voice.

Opting Out

If you do not want NSBA to share your contact information with other companies for the purpose of receiving their mailings, send us an email, including your name, email and, if available, your member or other identification number.
