Center for Public Education

The Center for Public Education (CPE), an initiative of NSBA, is a national resource for accurate, timely, and credible information about public education and its importance to the well-being of our nation. CPE provides up-to-date research, data, and analysis on current education issues and explores ways to improve student achievement and engage public support for public schools. With an average of 80,000 unique web visits per month, centerforpubliceducation.org is your connection to school board members, policymakers, educators, community leaders, and parents.

CPE provides practical resources including:

  • Original studies and reviews of rigorous education research that cut through the noise of opinion and politics to get at what really works.
  • Stories from the field showcasing schools and districts that are successfully applying the lessons of research and engaging their communities to the benefit of all their students.
  • Guides, glossaries, and go-to backgrounders on education lingo, statistics, and topics.
  • Downloadable resources and tools to help school and community leaders in their school improvement efforts.

CPE also works in close partnership with state school board associations to translate the lessons of research into effective policies and practices at the state and district level.

In-Kind Sponsorships

In-kind sponsorships are great options for organizations and individuals who want to support our public school advocacy. We have virtually limitless in-kind opportunities to support our operations and supplement services to our members. We’ll proudly market your contribution to our membership and work with you to determine the best opportunities and exposure for your company.

When you think sponsorship, you might only think about direct monetary support. Here at NSBA, we provide a number of different ways to leverage our resources to achieve your goals. We can work with you to customize an opportunity that best matches your resources and objectives.

Event Sponsorships

Engage our members:

"The NSBA Conference is well organized; the show floor is thoughtfully designed and the schedule is arranged with daily exclusive exhibitor-attendee interaction time. The current harsh economic realities have forced our organization to be extremely selective in deciding how to spend our limited conference funds, and participation at the NSBA event remains on the top of our list." Eric Ebel, The NAMM Foundation

We have several opportunities for in-person engagement with our members, particularly at NSBA's Annual Conference, and we can customize a plan to meet your specific business needs.

  • Lead a work-a-like lunch discussion
  • Showcase your latest offerings to a captive audience
  • Enhance the attendee experience in a meaningful way

Through face-to-face networking opportunities and advertising channels, your message will help build trust and credibility for our constituents.

Innovation, Thought Leadership, and Best Practices

Advances in communications technology and new teaching paradigms have brought great innovation to our public schools. In our commitment to support innovation, we recognize the critical importance of collaboration with corporate partners.

We’ve created a number of unique opportunities for your business to share best practices, commonalities, and successful implementations. These opportunities will serve as resources for our members and bring a much-needed private industry perspective to the public education dialog. We provide our members a comprehensive resource library that they use every day in their public education work.
