CUBE Conference Presentations

Sixty years after the Brown v. Board of Education, opportunities have opened up for children to learn and educators of color to access the educational system. Many of us were given the honor of being in the highest position one can hold: a school board member. How are we using those coveted roles to advance the causes that allow all children to thrive and succeed? Are we making decisions with our administration and in the community we serve that will leave footprints behind for others to emulate, or are those prints washed away as we leave office? This is one workshop you do not want to miss. You will be engaged while working together on best practices that will create the environment for policy changes in your district.

Presenter:  Andrea A. Lawful-Trainer, principal/CEO, C.A.P.E.S. and school board member, Abington School District, Abington, Pennsylvania
