Announcing the 2015 Technology Innovation Showcase winners

The National School Boards Association (NSBA) today announced the companies chosen to be profiled in its annual Technology Innovation Showcase.

“Emerging companies of note offer technology solutions that demonstrate a deep understanding of the challenges faced in K-12 education,” said Thomas J. Gentzel, NSBA’s Executive Director. “Our Technology Innovation Showcase was created to inspire school leaders to look beyond the familiar. The 2015 leaders selected reflect a new generation of entrepreneurs committed to helping students succeed.”

Education Technology Site Visit: Mentor Public Schools

Mentor Public Schools provides excellent educational opportunities to more than 7,800 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade from Mentor and its surrounding communities Concord, Kirtland and Mentor-on-the-Lake. The district operates nine elementary schools, three middle schools, one high school and one state-of-the-art specialized school for students with autism. Mentor Schools is regularly recognized by the State of Ohio for exceptional financial practices through the Auditor’s Office and high academic achievement by students through the Ohio Department of Education.
