Senior Program Associate, Council of School Attorneys

The National School Boards Association seeks an experienced association professional to serve as Senior Program Associate for its Council of School Attorneys (COSA).  The Senior Program Associate manages operational functions of COSA, including membership and member services fulfillment; budget development and monitoring; publication and marketing scheduling; and event planning for two national seminars held annually.  The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects in an efficient and organized manner, skilled in oral and written communication, and experienced with budget development and management.  There is opportunity for creative work in membership outreach, research and communication projects that provide value to COSA.  The COSA Senior Program Associate is an active member of the NSBA legal department;  experience working in a legal environment or in support of those in the legal profession is preferred.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated success in project development and implementation; experience developing and managing budgets; and excellent oral and written communication and project management skills.

Preferred:
Experience in association membership management; experience working in a legal environment or in support of those in the legal profession
