Our Public Schools: Expanding the Horizon of Educational Choice

Tuesday, September 12, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. at the Cannon House Office Building, in Washington, D.C. Executive Director & CEO Tom Gentzel will moderate a panel of school leaders to exchange perspectives of the current state of “choice” in our public schools.

Panelists include John Craig, Assistant Principal, Hazen Union High School, Vermont; Terrell Davis, Executive Director of Public Affairs and Special Projects, Wichita Public Schools, Kansas; and Craig Plank, Chair, School Board, Richland School District Two, South Carolina.

Patte Barth of the Center for Public Education (CPE) will be there to release CPE's new report, "Busting the Myth of 'one-size-fits-all' public education," which examines choice opportunities in our country's public school system.
