Join us to explore Flip video technology, podcasting, and simple video editing to engage students and enliven any subject. Learn to create podcasts and use all the necessary equipment to get your students jumping out their chairs for more! The Tool Factory trainer will give the basics of how to podcast using Tool Factory's podcasting software, and you will create your very own podcasts in minutes! More detailed training will include instructional use of the microphone and digital voice recorder. We'll also use podcasting multi-track recording to produce easy, sophisticated soundtracks to layer over a video production. Create fun videos using Flip technology, and learn student-friendly video editing on Tool Factory Movie Maker that makes video production a snap!

Designed to help districts standardize their digital camera program and help teachers acquire cameras using training budgets. The Olympus trained photographers will teach you every step in the digital photography process. You'll shoot pictures, touch them up, print photos, and build curriculum by the end of the seminar. Experience firsthand, a course designed to get teachers taking quality photos for yearbooks, newspapers, flyers, lab reports, worksheets, presentations, bulletin boards, and much more!

21st Century Classroom and Beyond

Step inside and become a student! See what it really means to be a student in a technology-rich learning environment from science to social studies. If you would rather just observe the lesson, that's an option too. The classroom will offer sessions throughout the conference across all grade and discipline levels.

Open Source Lab

This hands-on lab will introduce educators to the world of open source resources. Some sessions will explain the pros and cons of switching to open source operating solutions while others will highlight district's that have saved thousands of dollars. Experience Moodle and other free online tools. Come explore with the experts.
