This session will explore how we might approach the teaching of authorship differently in a remix culture, outlining what we mean by the new media literacies, and examining a new teacher's guide which explores the ways that Moby Dick remixed materials of 19th century America and has, in turn, been appropriated and redeployed in the 21st century.
