Workshop Session Information
As you may recall from the submission form, we want sessions to be more interactive than in the past. This is very important. Sessions vary in length. The majority are sixty minutes in length and feature a single school district. If you have an alternative format, additional information is enclosed to you in the profile mailing. Be sure to emphasize results achieved and/or research data compiled from your project in your presentation. Past attendees have indicated a strong desire to see evidence of programs that work, not just a “show and tell” session. You and your co-presenter(s) should plan to schedule time during the session for audience participation and/or a question/answer period. Plan to prepare handouts (approximately 100) with key facts to assist attendees who may wish to follow up after the conference. Carefully read the copyright statement included in the workshop acknowledgement form, which addresses the distribution of materials on-site. If you are comfortable providing attendees with electronic access to your handout materials after the conference, please plan to post your handouts on our EdTechKnow networking site so attendees can download them.
