When phoning hotel reservations, it may take a few minutes to complete your call. You can save time by having the following information ready:
- Your first, second, and third choice of hotel (see map and rates).
- Arrival and departure dates.
- Type of room needed (single, double, double/double, suite).
- Number of persons in party.
- Any special requirements due to disability.
- Phone number.
- Credit card name, number, expiration date (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club).
- Names of occupants of room.
- Mailing address.
Availability at Conference hotels is on a first-come, first-served basis. All reservations must be handled through T+L Housing Bureau. Hotels will not honor direct reservations. Reservations should be made prior to September 19, 2007. After that date, neither NSBA nor T+L Housing Bureau guarantees availability of rooms at designated meeting hotels at the T+L rate.
Conference registration should be completed when hotel reservations are made. Here's a reminder of the schedule:
- Pre-Conference sessions: October 16, 2007.
- Conference begins: October 17, 2007.
- Conference concludes: October 19, 2007 (PM).
Deposits, Confirmations, Check-in time
- Deposit: A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to guarantee each reservation. The deposit can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club), check, or money order. If you wish to send a check, please send $200 per room or $400 per suite, make the check payable to Convention Management Resources, and mail to: T+L Housing Bureau, 33 New Montgomery Street, Suite 1420, San Francisco, CA 94105.
- Confirmation: T+L Housing Bureau will send you a written acknowledgement. Please read it immediately and carefully to verify all information.
- Check-in time: At most hotels, it's between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- Changes, cancellations, and refunds: All changes and cancellations must be made directly with the T+L Housing Bureau prior to September 19, 2007. DO NOT contact the hotel directly. Cancellations must be received by September 19, 2007 to avoid a penalty. Contact T+L Housing Bureau c/o Convention Management Resources at 800-636-4766 (US/Canada) or 415-979-2265 (International) with any questions, or e-mail your housing questions to T+L2007Housing@cmrus.com.
- Cancellation: You will receive a full refund of your deposit if cancelled prior to September 19, 2007. If you do not cancel your reservation prior to September 19, 2007 or fail to arrive on your confirmed date, your credit card will be charged the one-night room charge plus tax and your reservation will be canceled for the remainder of your stay.
