The National School Boards Association’s (NSBA’s) Council of Urban Boards of Education (CUBE) today announced two recipients of the 2014 Benjamin Elijah Mays Lifetime Achievement Award; Lock P. Beachum, Sr. of Youngstown City School District, Ohio, and Elizabeth Daniels, of Portsmouth City Schools, Virginia.
