Ever wish there was a place to go that would allow you to review sample policies so that you are not reinventing the wheel? There is, and it comes as an exclusive benefit for National Affiliate participants. The National Education Policy Network is a database of sample policies that you can use to help construct a policy that is specific to your needs. You still need expert advise from your district legal counsel and your state school boards association, but your board will be better informed as to how other districts are addressing the issue. To access the National Education Policy Network, go to the Members Only section of the National Affiliate website and click on the Members Only link. Once on the member page, scroll down to the National Education Policy Network header. Select the header and you’ll be taken to the Policy website where you can access the database of sample policies.
