Marketing Coordinator

National School Boards Association (NSBA) seeks a detail oriented individual marketing coordination and database administration, including data analysis and marketing executions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates all logistics as related to launch of marketing e-mails including design of the monthly schedule and creation/execution of all (html and text) emails;
  • Generates routine lists and reports using preset queries, as required by all departments; details information in several forms of output using NSBA’s database Terminal Control Language (TCL) and report writer.
  • Customizes reports to address the needs of the team; provides output files for outside vendors via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) for the Association publications and mailings;
  • Coordinates print and mail house, in collaboration with the creative team, function on behalf of the association, working with both internal and external resources
  • Executes broadcast e-mails for association programs, marketing pieces, news releases, e-newsletters, Legal Clips, etc; works with marketing lead to create and execute selective (i.e. webinars) promotions and maintains the marketing schedule
  • Works with Public Advocacy & Communications team and outside vendors, as needed, to support mailing and fulfillment; assists with website page creation and copy updates
  • Creates and maintains marketing program codes; generates internal list request selections; leads solicitation of testimonials and maintains the testimonial database; performs administrative duties such as: organizing files and direct mail pieces
  • Coding invoices, consolidating budget data, tracking campaign results and preparing reports
  • Proofreads and reviews marketing projects for style and consistency as needed; performs other duties as assigned
  • Utilizes statistical techniques to analyze data collected from many different sources.
  • Analyzes and interprets demographic and sales data from NSBA’s databases; communicates results through presentations and reports
  • Produces data reports in a variety of formats for NSBA membership, customer and marketing campaigns.

Salary $55 to $60K

Required: Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; three to five years’ experience in Marketing or related field; proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
