Hotel

The Hilton Washington is located at 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW , Washington, DC 20009, (202) 483-3000 (main number). This year’s conference rates are as follows and do not include the 14.5% tax (per night, subject to change without notice):

  • Single: $217 plus tax
  • Double: $217 plus tax
  • Plus 14.5% tax +$30 for Club Level Rooms (based on availability)

Reservations: There are four ways you can make your housing reservations with CMR:

Availability at conference hotel is on a first-come, first-served basis. All reservations must be handled through Leadership/FRN Housing. The Hilton will not honor direct reservations within the NSBA room block. Reservations should be made prior to Friday, January 6, 2012. After that date, neither NSBA nor CMR guarantees room availability at the conference rate.

Deposit

A deposit guarantee is required for each reservation and can be made by credit card, check or money order. Please note that the credit card will be used only as a guarantee by Leadership/FRN Housing. The hotel itself may charge a deposit of one night’s room + tax after January 12, 2012. If you wish to send in a check, please send $248.46 per room ($217.00 + 14.5% tax). Make check payable to Convention Management Resources, and mail it to Leadership/FRN Housing Bureau, 33 New Montgomery Street, Suite 1100, San Francisco, CA 94105. All check deposits must be received by 1/6/2012. Purchase Orders are not accepted.

Confirmation

Leadership/FRN Housing will e-mail you a confirmation of your reservation. Please read it immediately and carefully to verify all information. If you do not receive an emailed confirmation with-in 24 hours of booking your room, please contact Leadership/FRN Housing immediately.

Changes and Cancellations

All changes and cancellations must be made directly with Leadership/FRN Housing by Friday, January 6, 2012 to avoid penalty. Please do not contact the hotel directly. You may cancel or change your reservation online at www.cmrhousing.com/nsba_5r/welcome.aspx. You may also contact Leadership/FRN Housing Bureau c/o CMR at 866-300-2071 or 415-268-2088 with any changes, cancellations, questions, or e-mail your housing questions to NSBADCHousing@cmrus.com. Any minor changes such as name changes can be made with CMR up until January 19, 2012.

Refunds

You will receive a full refund of your deposit if your reservation is cancelled prior to January 6, 2012. If you do not cancel your reservation prior to January 6, 2012, or fail to arrive on your confirmed date, your credit card will be charged the one-night room charge plus tax or your check deposit will be forfeited, and your reservation will be cancelled for the remainder of your stay.
