Explore Local Attractions
Pull off the Museum Campus Triple Crown: Visiting only one museum in a day is kind of like not getting your Italian beef dipped. So pull up those bootstraps and hit up Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and the Field Museum in one go.
And don’t miss:

Step out on the Ledge: Step outside the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere,  the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower.  At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge’s glass boxes extend out 4.3 feet from the Skydeck. This one-stop Chicago experience offers interactive exhibits and spectacular views spanning up to four states.

Try a Second City Show: Chicago is known as the comedy capital of the world. If you take in a Second City performance there’s a chance you’ll see someone who ends up on SNL one day, or, at the very least, a Sonic Commercial.

Chicago’s Playground for Sports Fans, Sports Museum: The Chicago Sports Museum combines high-tech interactive experiences—including skill challenges and simulated experiences—with unique sports memorabilia and an impressive collection of game-used treasures and other artifacts.

International Museum of Surgical Science:  North America’s only museum devoted to surgery, it’s one of the weirdest things in all of Chicago, and one of the coolest.

Deep Dish Pizza: There’s just something about a deep-dish pizza – thick, cheesy and uniquely Chicago. Grab a pie at any of these iconic deep dish pizzerias; Giordano’s, Pizzeria UNO, or Lou Malnati’s .

Eat a 5lb burger and get your name on a plaque at Fatso’s Last Stand: It’s called the Jumbo Fatso Challenge, and it requires the human consumption of a ridiculous 5lb burger with a half-pound of fries.
