Start your experience early with a pre-conference site visit and workshop hosted by our Technology Leadership Network. The site visit will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at Discovery Education.

Join national thought leaders at the headquarters of Discovery Education to explore teaching and learning in the Digital Age. Through engaging, interactive sessions tailored to the needs and interests of school board members, participants will experience the latest digital textbooks, gaming technologies, and more. Learn how educational technologies can help educators maximize the potential of each student.

Michelle Riconscente, Director of Learning & Assessment, GlassLab

Michelle Riconscente, PhD, is responsible for developing and bringing to life the key learning and assessment considerations in GlassLab's products. With over 20 years of experience in the design and research of educational technologies, Michelle brings expertise in evidence-centered assessment design, formative assessment, psychometrics, cognitive science, and instruction to the Lab's innovations in creating game environments and support materials that strongly link learning and assessment.

Hall Davidson

Hall Davidson, Sr. Director of Global Learning Initiatives, Discovery Education

Hall Davidson has worked from think tanks in Turkey to classrooms in Tennessee. He has collaborated with thought leaders including teachers, superintendents, and departments of education. A former K-12 bilingual math teacher and college faculty member, he left the classroom to became part of an Emmy-winning team, creating math and technology integration programs.

The cost of attending this site visit is an additional fee of $125 per person. We will provide lunch and transportation. This event is limited only to 75 attendees.
