CUBE Presentation: Improving Achievement and Closing Gaps in Urban School Districts

One of the most vexing problems in American education is the achievement gap. Schools and districts across the country are tackling the problem in different ways. This clinic addressed key areas of education that contribute to both the challenges and the solutions of the achievement gap for minority students in urban school districts. It also examined the systems in which our districts, schools and classrooms operate and ask what the systems themselves are doing to close the achievement gap for minority students.
