Don’t miss the NSBA Council of School Attorneys’ (COSA) 2010 School Law Practice Seminar to be held October 14-16, 2010 in Providence, R.I.! This seminar is for lawyers and “lawyers to be” only and focuses on the difficult issues that you face day-to-day representing public school clients. It will provide you an opportunity to earn up to 10.5 hrs. of CLE programming targeted to the needs of the school law practitioner.

Providence is a compact, walkable, thriving American city that blends New England history with “an edgy and vibrant culinary, arts, music and cultural scene.” One of the most popular events is Waterfire. The last show of 2010 will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16 at the end of our seminar, so plan on staying over in Providence until Sunday to enjoy the show, “a multi-sensory art installation, highlighted by a series of bonfires installed on the three rivers of downtown Providence. “

“Roger Williams Park is a top-notch family attraction that has delighted generations of visitors. The zoo has earned rave reviews and record attendance at the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular.” The park also contains waterways, walks, Botanical Center, a Carousel Village, Museum of Natural History, and Planetarium. History buffs will enjoy the city’s rich and varied architecture which ranges from colonial to modern.
