The NSBA Council of School Attorneys’ (COSA) dynamic School Law Practice Seminar will be held in Providence, Rhode Island, October 14-16, 2010! This seminar is for lawyers and “lawyers to be” only and focuses on the difficult issues that you face day-to-day representing public school clients. It will provide you an opportunity to earn up to 10.5 hrs. of CLE programming targeted to the needs of the school practitioner.

Don't miss the Thursday opening general session, "Lincoln: Lawyer and Mediator – A Study in Political Courage," with keynote speaker the Hon. Frank J. Williams, Chief Justice (Ret.), Rhode Island Supreme Court. Participate in a Thursday early bird session on labor relations or special education, and choose from three concurrent sessions on Friday afternoon. Gather in smaller groups and “talk over” the issues of most concern to your practice. You can select the “School Law Boot Camp,” labor session, or a variety of sessions on general school law. If you’re a school district in house counsel, join your colleagues on Friday for a complimentary luncheon networking meeting followed by a CLE session for in house counsel.
