This Fall all of your clients/members will be receiving a joint NSBA/NEA publication discussing the legal rights of undocumented student in public schools. In a complimentary audio conference hosted by Allison Brown Schafer, North Carolina School Boards Association, the author of the document, John W. Borkowski, Hogan & Hartson, will discuss all 13 question covered in the publication which include the breadth of undocumented students’ right to receive an education, admitting undocumented and non-immigrant (B-2 visa) students to school, and dealing with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
