Life on a School Board

“Life on a School Board” is designed to celebrate hard work and dedication to the local school district and community.  Our goal is to help new school board members understand the excitement, challenges, successes, and failures  faced while serving on a school board.

In the April 1999 issue of New Horizons for Learning Journal, Michale Gabriel defines storytelling  - “stories...comfort, they nurture, they capture our imaginations, they ignite our creativity, they take us away to a place where time stands still.  They invest our lives with meaning, and render our lives more meaningful."  We think that “Life on a School Board” can make such a difference.

If you have a story to share please contact Crissy O’Donnell at Codonnell@nsba.org.
