  Are you a school board member who has a question about science, mathematics, and technology (SMT) education? This site is dedicated to bringing cutting-edge science curricula materials to you – the local school board member – for assisting your students and community in not being left behind in the 21st century. AAAS and NSBA developed this partnership and launched the online tools in 2008.

  Getting to national conferences isn’t always possible. Even so, school board members and superintendents need the latest information on national issues to make informed decisions. Each month NSBA produces a free webinar for National Affiliate districts that focuses on a topic of interest to school districts across the country. We have already produced programs on the changing demographics, current federal legislation, cyberbullying, and the change process.   Thinking about running for the school board, or have you been on the board for a while and would just like to hear about the experience of others? Life on the School Board is a series of discussions with long time school board members that talk about their call to serve and the experiences on their school board.   National School Boards Association’s Annual Conference & Exposition is the opportunity to talk with peers, learn from each other, and share valuable information you can take home to your colleagues and community. It also is a place where individuals can benefit from great programs in National Affiliate Center, the resource room for National Affiliates. In the National Affiliate Center you can participate in highly interactive sessions designed to provide you with the knowledge and the tools to make change happen in your district.

  Technology decisions should be based on real knowledge. The T+L Conference will give you the opportunity to discuss and explore technology to transform teaching and learning in the classroom, improve administrative practices, and make well-informed technology spending decisions.
