Senator Chuck Hagel (R-Nebraska) and Representative Rubèn Hinojosa (D-TX-15), a former school board member and member of the House Education and Labor Committee member are confirmed as speakers. Several other key House and Senate members are pending confirmation. This year’s award recipients include: Representative David Obey (D-7th- Wisconsin), Chair of the Committee on Appropriations; Representative James T. Walsh (R-25th-New York), Representative Sam Graves (R-6th-Missouri) and Representative John Dingell (D-15th-Michigan).
