Racial Isolation Task Force

This task force considers the issue of racial isolation in urban schools and examines the education and policy ramifications surrounding issues of race, including the minority achievement gap, desegregation, the disproportionate number of minorities assigned to special education classes, and the disproportionate percentage of minority students disciplined. The goal is to equip urban school board members with the latest research and suggested approaches to help prevent student isolation based on race.
