Leadership Forum for Healthy Students and Healthy Schools

Five of NSBA’s state associations worked in partnership with their colleagues at the state administrators’ association and other stakeholders to develop and implement plans to improve asthma management in school districts in their states. Throughout a project that ended in May 2011, NSBA and AASA provided technical assistance, and convened all the teams for a national meeting at least once a year to share successes and challenges, learn about new asthma information and provide guidance.

These pages provide an overview of each state team's accomplishments and will provide ideas for states that may wish to initiate similar projects.
