How Does Indoor Air Quality Impact Student Health and Academic Performance?
Abstract:This document presents evidence that improved Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) can positively affect student performance. For example, there is growing evidence that improving IAQ can increase student and teacher productivity and performance and decrease the likelihood of illness. In addition, studies show that maintence issues in schools can trigger asthma, one of the leading sources of school absenteeism and one of the most prevalent chronic diseases in children. Recommendations on how to improve indoor air quality and leverage your IAQ management program are also provided.
