Abstract:[ARCHIVED] This sheet provides quick facts and statistics concerning transmission of HIV among children. Infection of teens via risk behaviors and of babies perinatally are the most prevalent transmission modes. Statistics on the problems of HIV infection particular to children, as well information on the effect of HIV on minority children, is provided.
