Students: Drugs and Alcohol/Tobacco
Abstract:This policy states that smoking or any other unauthorized use of tobacco is prohibited by students in any school building, school vehicle, on school grounds, at any school function, extracurricular event, field trip, school-related activity, or at any time the student is under the supervision of school personnel. An ongoing program of student support and counseling will be provided for students that wish to stop smoking. For the public and staff, no smoking in buildings is under the control of the board of education. An ongoing program of staff support and counseling will be provided for staff that wish to stop smoking.
