NSBA Supports PAYSCHOOLS Online Payment System for School Fees
Alexandria, Va. – May 24 - National School Boards Association (NSBA) announced Monday that it will partner with Local Government Services, Inc. (LGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Iowa Association of School Boards , to sponsor PAYSCHOOLS to school board associations and member districts across the country.
PAYSCHOOLS is a web-based online payment system that allows parents to pay for school lunches and other school fees over the internet. PAYSCHOOLS is poised to be the least expensive solution for parents to conduct business with their local schools.
NSBA Executive Director Anne Bryant explained, "As school resources are constantly dwindling, we are always looking for ways to help our members become more efficient. PAYSCHOOLS is a wonderful opportunity for school districts to improve their internal controls while freeing up time for the district offices to concentrate on their primary function, which is to improve student learning.”
PAYSCHOOLS is also endorsed by the New York State School Boards Association, Pennsylvania School Boards Association, and the Iowa Association of School Boards. Visit www.payschools.com for more information about the program.
