Legal Clips Delivery FAQ

Q: I subscribed to Legal Clips but have not gotten any mailings.

A: Chances are we experienced problems during delivery and the e-mail was bounced back. Here are some common reasons why e-mails bounce back:
  • The address we are trying to send to is not valid. You may have typed an incorrect address into the online subscription form. You may subscribe again here.
  • The e-mail address we are sending to has reached its storage quota. If you use web-based e-mail services like Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail, make sure your inbox is not full. If it is full, we will not be able to send you e-mail. Visit the archives to view any missed issues of Legal Clips after you clean up your inbox.
  • Your e-mail server may have been down recently. Some servers queue e-mail when they are down, but that is not always the case. Visit the archives to view any missed issues of Legal Clips.
  • Your e-mail server may have a spamguard and/or firewall that prevents delivery of Legal Clips, especially when these filters are adjusted to higher and higher settings to screen out more undesired messages. We suggest you contact your ISP or IT department to learn how to guarantee delivery of e-newsletters. Our list address is legalclips@lists.nsba.org. Make sure to add it to your addressbook or approved senders list.
  • If you have not received any Legal Clips mailings, chances are we have records of your problem. If you would like a copy of the "bounceback" message that we may have received from your address, please let us know. Perhaps someone in your office could examine it to determine if there is a problem. Send an e-mail request to Andrew Paulson. Please note that some spam filters do not register a blocked e-mail as a bounce. In such cases, we will not have any record of a delivery problem.
