Outstanding program planned for National Affiliates at NSBA Conference

04/08 -- School district leaders from National Affiliate districts who come to NSBA’s Annual Conference are invited to gather at a special place just for them, where they can relax, unwind, meet their peers from across the country, and participate in educational workshops and roundtable discussions.

National Affiliate Central is likely to be one of the most popular gathering sites in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando during the 2008 Annual Conference, March 29-April 1.

A new feature has been added to NA Central this year called “Life on a School Board.”

Conference registrants are invited to come to NA Central to record a story related to their experiences as a school board member. Audio excerpts from these stories will be posted later on the NA section of the NSBA website.

NSBA staff members will be on hand at NA Central throughout the conference to help you get the most out of the NA program. If your district isn’t a National Affiliate, come to NA Central to learn what this program can do for you and your schools.

The benefits of the NA program include discounts on conference registrations, advocacy on federal issues, School Board News, the SchoolGrants newsletter, American School Board Journal, the National Education Policy Network, and discounts on other NSBA publications and events.

The following sessions have been scheduled at NA Central:
