NSBA's Promising District Practices website allows you to submit and/or search for promising policies and practices in school health. Each of the tabs linked to pages in the website provides information to help you best navigate the site.

Submitting a story is relatively easy, but it must be completed at one sitting. Therefore, you may first want to consider completing our Word document submission form and then printing or saving it. This will help you gather and edit (e.g., grammar check) information that is needed for the actual online submission form. To avoid retyping into the online submission form, you may cut and paste your responses from this Word document.

Once a story is submitted, it is reviewed and may be edited by NSBA's School Health Programs staff for possible publication on this website. This process is further explained in the notice to submitters. Although a timeframe for review may vary based on the number of stories submitted at any given time, please anticipate 2-3 weeks for the review process. Submissions that are published on the website will be categorized into one or more school health topics.
